If you love flowers, and enjoy watching skilled presentations by experts as they create inspiring arrangements, you won’t want to miss Michelle’s demonstration at the Christmas Market in the Nelson room at Pontefract Town Hall.
It’s happening on Tuesday, 24th November between 6:30 and 9 PM, to raise money for the Prince of Wales Hospice.
Helping the Prince of Wales Hospice Help Others
The hospice cares for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, offering comfort beyond that provided by hospitals.
Through a variety of services that include day therapy, carer support and incare for patients, they extend a much needed helping hand not just for the management of aches and pains, but also for psychological and spiritual needs.
Fundraising is an ongoing concern, as the hospice needs to raise 70% of the annual £2million they need to provide care free of charge to those in need.
Michelle, from Michelle’s Flowers Ltd in Pontefract, will be putting on another of her amazing, entertaining and inspiring floral demonstrations, between 7.15 and 8.15 PM. All the creations made during the hour-long demonstration will be raffled off to raise funds for the hospice, giving everyone the chance to win a fabulous floral bargain.
Tickets will be available to buy on the night.
Live Demos and Lots to See and Buy
With seating for 200 in the main hall, there is plenty of room for everyone and it should be an inspiring and entertaining hour or so. As an active member of the local community, Michelle’s Flowers is always ready to lend a hand with fund raising, donating time and expertise, and sharing what they love and know about flowers for all occasions.
Elsewhere in the market will be stalls and stands filled with inspiration for Christmas decorations, cards, and gifts. You’ll find:
• Lee Mason Photography
• Affair Lingerie
• Suzi’s Boutique (bags and accessories)
• Karen Rollinson (handmade eco friendly cards)
• Cake and bun stall
• Second hand book stall
• Prince of Wales Hospice stand
• MD Weddings
• Memories by Mel
There’ll be refreshments too, of course, so you can browse the stalls, sip a cuppa or enjoy a delicious slice of cake as you contemplate all the good things on offer and wait for Michelle’s demonstration.
