From Thailand to Wakefield

Back in April, Shell & Karen travelled almost 6000 miles to Thailand for our old Saturday girl's dream wedding. A tropical wedding filled with bold, beautiful colours with fabulous flowers all around them...

This South East Asian trip merged into one of Shell's 50/50 challenges as she made her way via several planes; overnight trains, boats and tuk tuks to get to Koh Samui island. With a pit-stop in Bangkok to try cockroaches and insects (I'm a Celeb Get Me Out Of Here style.) Shell managed to tick off a couple of once in a lifetime experiences in just 6 nights. 

Not content with fitting in as much as humanely possible into the trip; she returned home with a million images of inspiration from the big day, determined to recreate this tropical wedding theme for Jenna & Luke's home wedding party. 

Wakefield had never seen so much colour when Unity Works was filled with all kinds of wonderful decorations. Recreating the pineapple table arrangements with birds of paradise and other tropical blooms;  orchid plants and statement arrangements transformed the grand ballroom space. 

A super generous gift for one of our oldest employees (she still comes back to work the odd Saturday!) Party guests were encouraged to take home the arrangements in exchange for a donation to the 50/50 challenge.
